Power surge
All broadband equipment appears to be working
fine following a surge in the island’s electrical
power supply last evening (29th May 2008).
Cable & Wireless engineers worked
diligently to limit the impact on internet users following the
surge.
Any islanders still experiencing problems
with their broadband router should first unplug it from
the mains and the computer, reconnect it and then re-power.
Should the equipment still not work it may be
necessary to contact the support services from your internet
service provider.
Cable & Wireless apologises for any
inconvenience caused as a result of last night's incident, which
was outside of the control of the company.
