Roaming issue being explored
Sure engineers are investigating a roaming
issue affecting some of its customers who retained a number when
moving network.
Sure customers affected have numbers with the
following prefixes - 07911, 07797, 07829, 07839, 076244, 076241.
Some of those customers are having problems making and receiving
calls in the UK when on O2 and Vodafone networks. Affected Pay As
You Go customers can neither make nor receive calls. Pay Monthly
customers are able to receive calls.
Customers affected are advised to go into the
Network Settings in their phone when roaming and manually select
either the Orange or T Mobile networks. They will then be able to
continue to make and receive calls.
Sure engineers are urgently working to resolve
this problem. We apologise for any inconvenience caused in the
meantime.
