Cable & Wireless Guernsey announces tariff changes for mobile Pre Pay and Post Pay services to take effect from 1st October 2009.

Sure Pre Pay Tariff Call Charges


Pre pay tariff call charges will be reduced to the following rates from 1st October 2009:

  • Calls will be charged per second but publicised at the above rates per minute
  • Existing Sure pre pay customers will automatically receive the new rates and they will be informed by text of the changes.

  • Each customer gets inclusive minutes and inclusive texts
  • Inclusive minutes or texts remaining unused at the end of the month roll over to a second month. 
  • Inclusive minutes, texts and data apply when connected to the Sure mobile service in Guernsey, Jersey or the Isle of Man.
  • Inclusive minutes include calls to other Sure mobiles (Guernsey, Jersey or IOM), UK mobiles (previously only included in some packages) and calls to Guernsey, Jersey Isle of Man and UK land lines.
  • Inclusive texts apply to texts sent to any mobile anywhere, excluding premium rated texts.
  • SIM only customers (i.e. no subsidised handset) can take a one month subscription by signing a direct debit form and providing details of their name and address, but they will not be able to benefit from any discounts.
  • Customers are able to add additional users to their plan to share their plan minutes and texts. The additional handset charge is £5 available on all plans (subject to maximum number of additional users shown in above table).
  • Plans are simpler with no differentiation in number of minutes or texts by term.
  • Calls will be charged by the second but publicised at the above rates per minute.
