Call and text charges for 25,000 Guernsey Sure
Pay As You Go customers will automatically drop today as the
telecoms company overhauls its pricing strategy.
Pay As You Go rates will drop between 17% for
calls to Sure mobiles and 60% cheaper for on-net picture
messages!*
Sure has introduced new Guernsey Pay Monthly
plans with increased minutes and texts. These new Pay Monthly plans
have been named to reflect the increased number of inclusive
minutes and texts to anywhere included. All new Pay Monthly plans
include all calls to local and UK landlines and mobiles as part of
the inclusive minutes and texts, as well as 100MB of data. Massive
savings of up to 44% are possible compared to Wave Telecom.**
Per second billing has also been introduced to
give customers even better value as they will only be charged for
the exact length of the call they make. Those who need increased
data and text allowances can also add unlimited boosters to Pay As
You Go and new Pay Monthly plans.

consistent value, reliable network coverage and fantastic customer
service. But we felt that the time was right to refresh our
offering and make it even more competitive. We’ve listened to our
customers and these massive savings reflect that,” said Commercial
Director, Justin Bellinger.
“Our new pricing structure offers a saving of
up to 44%** on some new Pay Monthly plans and up to 43%*** on some
Pay As You Go prices when compared to our closest competitor Wave
Telecom. Plus they also include the ability to use inclusive
minutes to local and UK landlines and mobiles which offers even
greater savings.”
Sure has also introduced a unique sharing
option aimed at couples and families. All new Pay Monthly plans now
have the option of adding additional users for just £5 per month
each to allow the inclusive minutes, texts and data allocation to
be shared.
“This is the first time customers in Guernsey
have been able to share a contract which we believe will be
extremely attractive to couples and families who may have different
demands from their contracts and may find its more cost-effective
to share,” said Mr Bellinger.
Pay As You Go customers will automatically be
transferred onto the new rates and Pay Monthly customers can
benefit from the new plans as soon as they sign or re-sign a
contract.
