Cable & Wireless is proud to sponsor all Guernsey Football
Association league competitions.
The Association and Cable & Wireless work together
in partnership to make the sponsorship an exciting and
innovative agreement for local football.
Cable & Wireless’ Commercial Director, Mark Briers, said
that the company is pleased to be committed to Guernsey
football for the fourth year running.
‘Football is an integral part of Guernsey life and we are
extremely pleased to be able to assist in ensuring the league
competitions continue to grow in popularity and quality,’ said Mr
Briers.
‘Cable & Wireless believes it has a responsibility to
contribute to the Bailiwick community and we see the football
league competitions as a perfect partnership. We have lots of ideas
in the pipeline which shall help the GFA to use our communications
expertise to boost the football experience for all concerned –
officials, coaches, players and supporters.
‘We see a great future for the league competitions and we are
delighted to be a part of it.’
The GFA President said that Cable & Wireless is a
professional, first-class business and he was confident that the
company’s significant support would continue to help the
Association to build on the success of the GFAs league
competitions.
And without such sponsorship support, local sport would be far
less successful than it is.
The seven GFA league competitions are: The Sure Mobile Priaulx
League, The Sure Mobile Jackson League, The Sure Mobile Railway
League, The Sure Mobile Youth Division One, The Sure Mobile Youth
Division Two, The Sure.Mobile Youth Three (under 14), and The
Sure.Mobile Women's League.
