IP feeds
IP Feeds are permanently connected, internet connections that
are dedicated exclusively to a particular customer. They provide
constant access from our data centre to the Internet and can form a
key component in the delivery of a converged network or to support
your e-business requirements.
Key benefits
Scalability:
- You can start with a dedicated 1Mb internet
connection and move up all the way to 10Gb and above as your
business and web needs develop.
Reliability:
- By dealing with Cable & Wireless Guernsey you will
have the peace of mind of dealing with an experienced,
international internet solutions company. Your IP Feed will be
connected to the rest of the world through our Internet Backbone
Service ensuring the highest reliability and speed
Flexibility:
- Using our Private Circuits, you can connect multiple sites to
create a Wide Area Network (WAN) then provide internet connectivity
to all locations from one dedicated IP Feed. This would
deliver improvements in efficiency, effectiveness and cost
savings.
Resilience:
- Cable & Wireless Guernsey's IP Feeds operate over a fully
resilient network structure duplicated by diverse routing of
our off-island connections.
Coverage:
- We are able to supply and support IP Feeds throughout the
Bailiwick of Guernsey. We can provide a Cisco 1720 (10/100)
router separately available and this includes X21 cables and
WIC 1T interface card. Customers supplying their own router
should have it approved by a Cable & Wireless Guernsey
Engineer.
