Sure rewards achievements
27th May
Sure have awarded Year 11 students from various
high schools around the Isle of Man with top up vouchers to the
value of £1 250.
The Sure School Rewards scheme is in its third
year and 2010 saw Year 11 students from Ballakermeen High School,
St Ninians High School and Queen Elizabeth II receive Sure top up
vouchers for their great achievements at the various schools.
Mike Stanton, Sure Country Manager said: “We
value being involved in education and feel that it is important to
reward great achievement in the Island’s schools. On behalf of the
team at Sure, I would also like to take the opportunity to wish all
Year 11 students the best of luck for their GCSE’s.”
Year 11 students have individual targets, which
are directly set by the respective schools, that need to be
achieved. The Sure School Reward scheme, which started in 2007, is
an additional incentive to motivate pupils to achieve their
targets.
Headteacher of Ballakermeen High School, Mrs
Burnett comments: “We are very appreciative of the way that Sure
has supported this existing scheme for three years now. It is
testament to their commitment to and involvement within the local
community.”
