Changing your outgoing message
The outgoing message is a personal greeting that welcomes
callers to your mailbox. The easy way to change this greeting is to
dial 172, and record a new message when prompted, then hang
up.
If you have already accessed your mailbox, from
the main menu:
- Press 3 to MODIFY
- Press 1 for OUTGOING MESSAGE
In both these cases you will be played the
existing outgoing message, then asked to record a new one.
- Press # when you have finished recording your
new greeting.
After recording the new outgoing message:
- Press 1 to RE-RECORD or,
- Press 2 to STORE THE OUTGOING MESSAGE you just
recorded.
