TT Visitors Select C&W

For the first time ever race fans have a choice of Telecoms
provider when it comes to their mobile supplier on the Isle of Man.
Cable & Wireless (C&W) have invested £10 million in a new
mobile network which is already providing visitors to the island
with superb network coverage, especially for the TT.
C&W and Sure Mobile have teamed up with the TT organisers,
Signature and the Isle of Man Government to sponsor the TT event as
the official telecommunications sponsor for this year’s centenary
event. All visitors need to do to gain access to this roaming
network, developed in association with Nokia, is to select C&W
on their phone settings to benefit from this advanced service.
Cable and Wireless (C&W) will also launch its brand new
mobile service to residents on the island in early July, providing
real choice and value for money with some exciting new tariffs and
launch offers accompanying the opening of its state of the art Sure
mobile store in Strand Street, Douglas.
The new service will also be available through an Island wide
network of approved partners featuring: Swift Communications,
Making IT Easy, Faze 2 & Fonebox.
