The new Sure Mobile service from Cable & Wireless has been successfully operating on the Island
for the past two weeks since opening the doors of the new state-of-the-art store on Strand Street
and selling through five other outlets around the Island since the 3rd July.

In the short time Sure Mobile has been open, thousands of customers have come through the doors
to join Sure Mobile and take advantage of the great launch offers and price plans which offer real
choice and value for money – and to use the high quality Nokia network which provides outstanding
coverage of the Island.

Simon Last-Sutton, Commercial Director in the Isle of Man said, “The launch of our mobile service is
going extremely well and we are now seeing a constant stream of customers coming into our store
and on our website to join us on our great price plans. At Sure Mobile we feel we have something to

It is by listening to the needs of the people in the Isle of Man since the launch which has prompted
Sure Mobile to come up with some additional benefits to their service which will apply to all
qualifying, existing customers automatically from 19th July and also to new customers.

  • Calls to Philippines landlines are now just 10p per minute
    The Sure Mobile Pay Monthly, £5 booster called the ‘call home’ booster, currently allows people in the Isle of Man to call landlines in Poland, Portugal, Latvia or South Africa for just 10p a minute. Now, the £5 monthly booster will also include calls to the Philippines at just10p per minute, reduced from 75p. Pay As you Go customers who top up by £20 per month will also be enjoy this benefit.
  • Calls to Republic of Ireland landlines halved to 10 pence per minute – on all Sure Pay Monthly
    price plans.
  • SMS messages reduced from 10p to 7p – on all Sure Pay Monthly price plans.
