Sure mobile is to compensate all its customers
in the Isle of Man after they experienced some disruption to
service quality.
Sure mobile customers experienced call quality problems over the
bank holiday period. This technical issue, affecting equipment
supplied by Nokia (which designed and built the network), was
compounded because the bank holiday period meant that technical
assistance was harder to engage than normal.
As a goodwill gesture, Sure mobile will give
some credit to all its Pay monthly and Pay as you go
customers.
Simon Last-Sutton, Commercial Director for Sure
mobile in the Isle of Man, commented:
“We would like to apologise to any customers
inconvenienced by these technical problems. Our network is now
operating back at full capacity and customers are enjoying our
usual high standard of call quality. Our engineering team is now
working to ensure that this problem does not happen again. We are a
customer focused organisation which is why we have decided to be
proactive and will, as a sign of goodwill, credit our customers
alongside this apology.”
