C&W APPOINTS NEW ISLE OF MAN NON-EXEC
Cable & Wireless Isle of Man has appointed
Mike Henthorn as a non-executive director.
Mr Henthorn is the Managing Director of Aon
Insurance Managers (Isle of Man) Limited. He is an experienced
director who currently sits on the boards of a number of different
entities.
Mr Henthorn is a member of the Institute of
Directors, the Insurance Institute of the Isle of Man and is
currently Deputy Chairman of the Manx Insurance Managers
Association. He is also a council member of the Isle of Man Chamber
of Commerce and sits on the Isle of Man Finance Steering
Group.
Mr Henthorn is the second non-executive
director to be appointed to the Board of Cable & Wireless Isle
of Man, which trades in the island as Sure mobile. Former Isle of
Man Chief Minister, Donald Gelling is also a non-executive director
of the company.
Geoff Houston, the Chief Executive of Cable
& Wireless Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Bermuda,
