receiving the backing of Sure for the next 18 months. David
said:“I was really happy to be
approached by Sure about a potential sponsorship deal, and am
delighted that I’ve finally been signed up by them.“Because I travel across the world so much,
having a BlackBerry will really help me to stay in touch with my
family and friends, as well as keep on top of the business side of
my career. “The company has brought a lot to the Isle of Man in the
year that it’s been here, and what’s especially pleasing to see is
the way in which the team has got involved with sport here.“Sure really believes in supporting the Isle
of Man’s home-grown talent and giving something back, and I’m
delighted to be able to be a part of that.”Sure’s Marketing Manager, Julie Heselton, is very happy
that David will be representing the company over the next year and
a half. She said:“David Knight really
is one of the Isle of Man’s unsung heroes when it comes to the
world of racing, and I don’t think he gets anywhere near as much
recognition as he deserves.“To have so
many World Championship titles to your name by the age of 30 is
phenomenal, and the team at Sure are delighted to be sponsoring
him, and supporting his incredible talent. “David is a fantastic
ambassador for the Isle of Man and an inspiration to all of the
island’s aspiring sports stars – I know he will be just as
fantastic an ambassador for Sure over the next 18 months, and wish
him continued success with his racing career.”
