C&W ‘FREE BLACKBERRY INTERNET SERVICE’ PROMOTION TERMS
The terms and conditions for the ‘Free
Blackberry Internet Service’ promotion are valid from the 1st of
November 2009.
The Cable & Wireless Jersey Limited (Sure)
Blackberry Internet Service promotion (the "Promotion") is
available to all customers who sign a pay monthly contract and
existing pay monthly customers who re-sign to a new pay monthly
contract during the Promotion Period. The Promotion is available on
all 12, 18 and 24 month contracts. The Promotion will be available
until 31st December 2009. C&W Jersey has the right to end the
Promotion at any time before that date.
These Sure Promotion Terms and
Conditions should be read in conjunction with the C&WJ General
Terms and Conditions. Either the Sure Mobile pay as you go or Pay
Monthly Service Specific Terms and Conditions ([together] the
"Mobile Terms and Conditions") also apply [depending on the service
You take from Us]. Where there is conflict these Sure Promotion
Terms and Conditions supersede the General Terms and Conditions and
the Mobile Terms and Conditions.
1. Definitions and Interpretation
The C&WJ General Terms and Conditions
include definitions which also apply to these Sure Promotion Terms
and Conditions. These definitions are in addition:
"BlackBerry Internet Service" (the
"Service") refers to the solution that provides the
ability to receive and send emails and access the Internet over the
air using a BlackBerry Wireless Handheld, the 3G or GPRS/EDGE
network and relevant email servers.
"BlackBerry Wireless Handheld"
means the proprietary communication device manufactured by Research
In Motion Limited for the purposes of enabling You to access, read
and reply to emails via a GPRS/EDGE network.
"Data Service" refers to the
BlackBerry functionality provided to You as part of the BlackBerry
Internet Solution. It excludes voice and SMS usage.
"Service Delivery Date" means
the date on which We make the Service ready for use.
"SIM Card" means the
Subscriber Identity Module containing data (including Your
identity), which has been supplied to You by Us.
2. Terms of the Offer
2.1 If You sign up for the Blackberry Internet
Service for use with a new or existing Blackberry device during the
Promotion Period you will get the first full 3 months of Blackberry
Internet Service free of charge.
2.2 There is no cash alternative to the free
Blackberry Internet Service.
2.3 The Promotion is available on all 12, 18
and 24 month contracts.
2.4 The Promotion will be available from 2nd
November 2009 until 31st December 2009 (the “Prmotion Period”)
unless terminated earlier by Sure.
2.5 The monthly charge for the Blackberry
Internet Service is £15 after the Promotion has ended.
