SURE’S SANTA LINES TO BRING CHRISTMAS CHEER TO CHILDREN
Santa will once again be reading stories to
children in the days leading up to Christmas and this year he is
even paying a special visit to Jersey to celebrate.
Each year, Sure asks Santa to spare a few
minutes to record some festive tales for children to listen to by
simply calling a telephone number.
“The short stories are perfect for bedtime and
this year there are some fantastic ones which should appeal to
children of all ages. We’re also very grateful to Santa for finding
the time in his very busy schedule to come to the island to
celebrate the launch of Santaline and meet some of the children,”
said Sure’s chief executive, Graham Hughes.
Santa will be in the Sure store in St Helier on
Saturday 12th December from 10am until 4pm and will be listening to
what Jersey children want for Christmas.
“We know that lots of youngsters want to meet
Santa so this is the perfect chance to give him their lists and ask
those all important questions about the reindeers, the elves and of
course Mrs Christmas,” said Mr Hughes.
Santaline begins on Sunday 13th December and
each day until Christmas Day there will be a new story to listen
to. The number, which is free to call from Sure mobiles, is 07700
726820.
“All of the stories have a Christmas theme and
even the telephone number is an easy one to remember as the numbers
spell out 07700 SANTA 0. Sure hopes that Santaline and our very own
Santa’s grotto in store will make this Christmas even more fun,’”
said Mr Hughes.
