Sure is delighted that skating will return to
Jersey this Christmas when Ice Skate Jersey, sponsored by Sure
Skate, opens on Friday, 9th December.
Organiser Keith Halsted made the announcement exclusively on
Channel 103fm this morning that the ice rink will return to the
same venue as last year, the Parade Gardens in St Helier. Last year
over 23,000 tickets were sold making it clear that ice skating has
become incredibly popular with a huge number of local children and
adults.
The rink will be open for public skating from Friday 9th December
to Sunday 8th January.
Graham Hughes, Sure’s Chief Executive in Jersey, said: “Sure is
absolutely thrilled to be able to help create an event which the
whole community can enjoy, as part of our commitment to the people
of Jersey.”
“It will be a fantastic family attraction and will really add some
magic to Christmas in the island and we hope that it will encourage
lots of families to come into town and make the most of the
festivities.”
