Sure mobile launches free calls for families

Families will be able to call each other for free through Sure mobile.

Family Talk is a new initiative which will enable free calls between groups of Sure customers. Any group of two to five people on the Sure 120, 360 or 1,000 price plans can be placed on one customer account and will enjoy free calls to each other.

David Smith, Chief Executive of Sure mobile, commented:

“Our analysis identified that a high proportion of phone calls will be made to a small group of numbers. So, Family Talk is an ideal way for families, or indeed any group of people, to save money on their mobile phone bills. We estimate that Jersey Telecom customers moving to Family Talk could save over 50% on their bill.”  

The company has also launched cheaper call rates for Jersey’s Polish and Portuguese communities.

Until March 31^st 2007, Sure customers can call Poland and Portugal at a rate of just 3p per minute to landlines and 12p per minute to mobiles. 

Mr Smith commented:

“Sure mobile is for all people living in Jersey and so we have launched these rates to help Jersey’s largest ethnic communities to be able to communicate more easily with their home countries.”

He added:  

“These new offers are further proof that you get more when you join Sure.”
