BLACKBERRY BLOGGING

Sure mobile’s Pay as you go BlackBerry is being talked about by bloggers around the world.
Sure mobile has launched Europe’s first Pay as you go BlackBerry product as part of its Christmas promotions. Sure mobile’s Pay as you go price plan will allow individuals to top up the handset for calls, texts and picture messages like any other phone. BlackBerry’s data features (internet and email) will cost just £5 a week. As an introductory offer that charge has been reduced to just £2.50 per week until 31st March 2008.
The Pay as you go BlackBerry has been reviewed by the web site BBGeeks.com (http://www.bbgeeks.com/provider-reviews/suremobile.html) which provides news, reviews and information about BlackBerry products. They gave the product a five star rating and credit Sure mobile as having, “one of the cheapest BlackBerry tariffs in the UK area.”
Meanwhile Rimarkable, ‘the official, unofficial BlackBerry weblog’ ( http://www.rimarkable.com/would-a-pay-as-you-go-blackberry-plan-do-well-in-the-us) has also noticed the initiative and has asked if the product would do well in the US.
Mark Briers, Sure’s Marketing Director, commented:
“We want to be a technology leader, so it’s great to see a Sure product becoming the talk of the web. It’s fantastic to be able to offer Channel Islands and Isle of Man residents a genuinely appealing product before the rest of Europe.”
