20% less for business calls abroad

Sure has again reduced the cost of business calls to international landlines.

The telecoms operator is re-launching its popular FirstDial Business product as SureDial Business. The product, launched 18 months ago, was the first competition to Jersey Telecom’s land line service and has already led to significant reductions to the price of business calls in the island.

The new SureDial Business includes 25 destinations for which customers will receive an additional 20% discount on charges for calling land lines, over and above their current saving. The destinations, which are the most popular ones called by existing customers, include the USA, South Africa, Switzerland, Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates.

The product works by transferring calls from Jersey Telecom’s network onto Cable & Wireless’ network. Customers are offered a series of discounts based upon their monthly telecoms spend. There is no minimum spend before businesses start saving, no connection charge and no monthly fee. Sure’s engineers will simply reprogram the company’s PBX or attach special dongles to their phone lines. Mark Briers, Sure’s Marketing Director, commented:

“Since we introduced competition into this market prices have fallen quite substantially. Now we are leading again to reduce prices even further. It’s good news for Jersey businesses.”

SureDial Business also offers cheaper calls to local, national and international mobiles and landlines. As there is no minimum spend, both small and large businesses can benefit.
