FREE CALLS TO UK MOBILES WITH SURE
From today, calls to UK mobiles will be
included within the free minutes allowance on any Sure 300 price
plan or above, and on all of the company’s business tariffs.
It now means that anyone who signs up to a Sure
300 tariff or above, and any Sure business tariff, will be able to
make calls to both local and UK fixed lines and local and UK mobile
numbers within their allowance, saving them money on their bill at
the end of each month.
Patrick Cunningham, Sure’s Head of Mobile,
believes this is another positive step in increasing competition in
the mobile market:
“Including calls to UK mobiles in our inclusive
minutes really does prove that we are the value operator here on
the island.
“Many people living in the Jersey have
relatives in the UK, and this is particularly the case at the
moment with so many students having just left to go to university.
Similarly, our business customers have a lot of contacts and
colleagues in the UK.
“I’m delighted that Sure is able to offer more
choice and much better value for consumers when it comes to
choosing a mobile phone now, and am sure that this will prove to be
a very popular decision.”
Sure has also announced that it will be
introducing a new price plan for customers who use their mobiles on
a frequent basis. From 1st October 2008, islanders will
be able to sign up for the Sure 800 price plan, which includes 800
free minutes, 800 free texts and 80 free picture messages for £75
per month. Customers who sign up to an 18 month contract will
receive double the minutes and texts.
