Sure has appointed a new head of data and fixed line customer solutions across the Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Bermuda – Mike Phillips.

Mr Phillips, who is based in the Isle of Man, has moved to Sure from the local incumbent telecoms provider where he managed its corporate portfolio and product team. During his time at Manx Telecom Mr Phillips drove through a number of significant changes and innovation in the corporate product space including the delivery of a new off island connectivity service that significantly improved the services and features available.

In addition to four years working within the Isle of Man telecoms industry, his impressive CV boasts extensive experience in project and product management, IT consultancy and the delivery of both technical and product specialist knowledge. He is an expert in delivering communications solutions that drive business customers’ commercial objectives and enhance the day to day lives of consumer customers.

Mr Phillips is delighted to have joined the Sure team.

“It’s an exciting time to be joining Sure with a number of significant developments underway that will provide additional and enhanced products for our corporate and residential customers, and for the communities in general that we operate in,” he said. “one example of these developments is the introduction of Mobile Number Portability at the end of June, which means that Isle of Man residents will be able to seek the best deals and switch to Sure but keep their old number – which can only be good news for consumers”.
